Music critics have described her as a natural and masterful singer-songwriter; her songs warm, affecting, emotionally intriguing, and comparable to works of Fiona Apple , Keren Ann and Joni Mitchell.
With her songs “Love” and “Wolf”, Fym Summer is a featured singer-songwriter by Noise Singapore in 2015, an initiative held by the National Arts Council and a registered artist with the Association of Composers and Authors of Singapore (COMPASS).
The following year, she went on to perform many key and featured shows, including singing her signature works “This Girl” and “Truth” for the UN Women's 16 Days of Activism campaign and at the Royal Academy of Music in London, which are songs from her sophomore EP "Luna" released in 2017.
In 2018, Fym Summer has also been invited to perform at the renowned Canadian Music Week (CMW) in Toronto and South By Southwest (SXSW) Music Festival in Austin, Texas alongside in which she is the only musical artist representing Singapore who has received the invitations and performed that year.
Fym Summer also released “The Lone Star State” EP, which is written based on her music tours in the States in 2019. She has also performed for Sundown Festival, one of Asia’s greatest music festivals in the region.
