Hot Fiction are a blues rock duo founded in 2008 by Bath-raised, London/Bristol-based Simon Miller and Andrew Yeoh.
Employing a genre-hopping aural blancmange of fizzing pop, snappy, experimental blues, and nervy, singalong alternative rock, the pair spent their early years exploring the permeable boundaries of guttural garage rock. In 2010, after striking out on their own, they self-released an album -- Dark Room -- and soon became fixtures in the London D.I.Y. experimental music scene. 2012 saw Hot Fiction release their album Apply Within, with a more introspective and expansive sound, based on live takes from their Westbury bunker.
