New England born and raised, Rae Marks has been deeply rooted in music from a young age. Rae's parents have supported her passion for music, ever since she began belting out show tunes into a vacuum cleaner hose at 3-years-old.
At the age of 14, Rae trained vocally under Broadway performer and Opera singer, Gary William Harger. In high school, she went on to train under Broadway performer and producer, Kristin Huffman.
Rae went on to pursue a career in music education at Central Connecticut State University. In 2008 she graduated with degree in Communications and Journalism, but continues pursuing music and songwriting on the side.
In 2013, she joined a band, which would later become the country group, Shotgun Siren.
In 2015, Rae moved to Texas where she joined the classic rock band, The Poor Dogs.
In 2017, Rae decided to break away and pave her own path as Rae Marks, successfully launching a Kickstarter for her EP, which would later be recorded at Beaird Music Group, INC., in Nashville. The 6-song EP, Super Girl, was produced by Larry Beaird (Dolly Parton, Billy Dean, Kix Brooks, Robin Meade, Joey and Rory)
If you love a little bit of country, rock, and blues, with some serious attitude and grit, then you'll dig Rae’s tunes! Get her EP Super Girl on all digital platforms NOW!
