Coming off his debut album, "Crowd-Pleaser," Winston Cook hit the studio for some session work.
The result was "Lonesome Dove Sessions," a single release involving two tracks that lean toward a softer, Americana/folk sound. The two singles, "Pines of Home" and "Spider in a Jar" rely on subtle musical arrangement and thoughtful songwriting, paying homage to the nostalgic beauty of the East Texas Pineywoods and the growing pains associated with discovering one's self.
A few months after the session wrapped, Winston went right back into the studio to record some more music. This time, he had a heavier sound in mind...
