WildSide was just a kick azz hard rock band in the same vein as RATT, GN'R and SKID ROW. The simple key to their debut, and why it consistently garners $30 to $60 today, is the songwriting of Rhynedance, Woods and Hannah. The songs are winners. Drew Hannah's vocals are razor sharp and gritty, ala Axl Rose and Stephen Pearcy, while the blazing guitar work of Benny Rhynedance and Brent Woods cannot be denied. The CD is chock full of big hooks and "arena-style" anthems. Paul Stanley (KISS) contributed songwriting.
Produced and recorded by legendary producer Andy Johns in 1991, at Eddie Van Halen's 5150 Studio in Sherman Oaks, CA. Mixed by metal masters Steve Thompson and Michael Barbiero. Capitol Records spared no expense or expertise in the making of Under The Influence. This record was made 100% to be a 5 million seller. This is why it STILL commands a high price over 2-1/2 decades later. It's that good.
If you can pick up this long OOP CD for under $50 online, you got a sweet deal!
