Neeco Delaf is fascinated by the most basic of nature’s sounds and how they – in the right combination – can change our perception of things.
Nighttime he creates beautiful and dark electronica. Neeco Delaf grew up in a small town in the French Alps, where he attended music school from the age of 6 and played the saxophone during his teenage years in various local bands. In parallel, he got introduced to electronic music and started writing his own songs, mixing influences from his classical and pop music training to the triphop, soul and blues records played at home. During his studies, he regularly published tracks online and attracted the attention of Malmö-based blog/label HMWL with whom he released his first single Anthropology, after a remix on Warner Music for Swedish jazz singer Edda Magnason. Anthropology was later re-released on Café del Mar, Vol. 22. He has since then collaborated with FLY NiCOLE, Andrew Montgomery and flora cash.
