Rumpistol has performed his detailed signature sound and genre crossing music at festivals and venues all across the world including Boiler Room UK and MUTEK Montreal.
His music was used at the opening ceremony of the Paralympics in Rio 2016.
Rumpistol has done scores for film, games, theatre & contemporary dance, and worked with acts such as MØ (DK), Ane Trolle (DK), Toby Ernest aka Red Baron (DK/US), F.S.Blumm (DE), Copenhagen Philharmonics (DK), John LaMonica (US) not to mention his 4-piece band Kalaha (DK), who won the Danish Music Award Jazz in 2017 for their release "Masala".
Since 2003 Jens B. Christiansen has run the label Rump Recordings, showcasing mainly Danish electronic artists through a release span of more than 30 releases.
He has also released on the renowned Berlin-based label Project Mooncircle and the Danish Iboga Records.
Rumpistol has gained wide acknowledgement from people like John Peel (UK) and Laurent Garnier (F) to Om Unit (UK), Tipper (UK) and The Wire Magazine (UK).
