From a young age, Makaih’s mom saw that he had a talent for playing piano. Although his family was poor - sometimes even unable to afford food - she would buy him books and courses whenever she could to help him learn more about music. When she died in 2008, Makaih decided to pursue music full-time and become successful to honor all the sacrifices she made for him.
The path to success wasn’t always easy. By 2012, his music career still hadn’t worked out, leaving him effectively homeless - he found himself living out of a motel with only $100 left in his bank account. Despite the circumstances, he refused to give up on his dream. Fast-forward eight years, and that dream became a reality: he now has over 300 thousand followers across all social media platforms and a resume that speaks for itself.
Makaih’s production credits include collaborations with Jadakiss, Famous Dex, Soulja Boy, GoPro, and Adidas, to name a few. In October 2019, he released his latest full-length beat tape, “Creed”. The tape featured the breakout hit “LoveSigns” which peaked at #1 on SoundClick’s Latin instrumentals chart.
