Kid Lucifer is a four-piece garage rock band originally from Vancouver, and now based out of Montreal, Quebec.
The band consists of Henry Girard (vocals and guitar), Linus Heyes (lead guitar), Sam Schuette (bass), and Quinn Letendre (drums). Kid Lucifer formed in December of 2015 in Vancouver, British Columbia. After developing their sound and cutting their teeth in the underground Vancouver music scene, the group toured across Canada in the summer of 2017 to Montreal. Since moving together to Montreal, the band has continued to draw upon new influences and develop their sound; influences range from classic rock like the Doors, The Rolling Stones and The Ventures to modern garage and psychedelic rock bands including Oh Sees, The Mummies, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard and Twin Peaks. This all combines into the band’s unique blend of surf-tinged psychedelic garage rock. The group has consistently played in and around Montreal, and are known for their high energy and crowd-involved live shows. In 2018, Kid Lucifer released their debut full-length album “Nothin’ But Bangers,” a record they believe is an accurate representation of their sound, and one that captures the energy and intensity of their live performances.
