After scoring a hit with "Mary's Prayer" by his band Danny Wilson in 1987, this Scottish-born singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer relocated to London and began work on the first of many solo projects.
He has been signed to various labels as a solo artist (including Virgin subsidiary Circa Records, which released his Ten Short Songs About Love in 1993) and as a founding member of King L and Transister. These projects garnered critical acclaim but little mainstream recognition. Clark has found greater success in the years hence as a songwriter and producer, having written and produced songs for Natalie Imbruglia and Backstreet BoyNick Carter, among others. He moved from London to Los Angeles in 2007, and has since co-written songs for artists including the Veronicas, Little Hours, and the Xcerts. ~ L. Katz, Rovi
