“She has the goods, extremely promising.” –Music Row Magazine
Lockwood’s successes include CMA Emerging Artist, an Independent Country Music Association Award as banjo player for the Nashvegas Ramblers, and a 2016 Music Row Magazine Discovery Award for her song “Forgotten How to Cry.” With a mother who performed with John Hartford and the Dillards, a dad who taught her banjo, and a cousin, Al Barr, who fronts the Dropkick Murphys, she can’t remember a time she wasn’t around music. Lockwood has opened for artists and writers like Lori McKenna, Angaleena Presley(Pistol Annies) and Wiz Khalifa, and she logged over 100 shows in 2018. She released Signs Along the Road, produced by Matt Odmark of Grammy Award-winning band Jars of Clay in 2016, and they teamed up again to release new music in this past Summer and Winter of 2019. Her latest 2019 Christmas single is a duet with NBC’s The Voice alum, Barrett Baber.
