Swedish doom metal connoiseurs Vokonis regrouped from the ashes of Creedsmen Arise to further develop their love for loud riff-driven heavy music.
With a song contributed to The Planet of Doom and two vicious albums under their belt in just two years they're not about to go down in tempo. Hailing from the Swedish city of rain, Borås, Vokonis were held indoor by mother nature. Practicing, gigging and recording they honed their songwriting skills and dynamics. Signing a deal with american label, Ripple Music, they released their sophomore album The Sunken Djinn, which was met with critical acclaim from all over the underground. Sharing stages with bands such as Monolord, Skraeckoedlan and Bombus, Vokonis is making a dent on the doom, stoner and sludge scene. An imprint that will surely be felt for decades to come.
