Bel Holiday is a NY Metro based singer and songwriter who seamlessly blends a wide range of influences ranging from Lady Gaga to Janis Joplin to Broadway show tunes. Although only nineteen years of age, she has been singing and performing for well over a decade. In her own words she is “ever evolving and always able to draw inspiration from other artists.”
She is the recipient of the “Rising Star” award at the Jazz Forum Arts Vocal Jazz Festival, was the Grand Prixe winner at the prestigious West Park International Music Festival in 2019 and opened the Real Catwalk in Times Square which is one of the world’s most notable self-love and intersectional feminism events with an original song about loving one’s body. Although she is relatively new to performing outside of the theatre, Bel has graced the stage at many prestigious venues in the NYC area such as the Saint and The Highline Ballroom. In her spare time Bel can found listening to Billie Holiday (not a coincidence), teaching theatre workshops, giving vocal and piano lessons and participating in body positivity events where she has been an advocate, performer and model. In spite of her accolades to date Bel is serious about not taking herself too seriously.
