She discovered her passion for music winning a national singing competition in Poland at the age of 8. Through the years growing up she took part in many other music competitions and performed Soul and Blues with her vocal teacher. She then studied Opera at the Music Academy in Lodz, Poland, before moving to London where she continued her studies as a soprano.
Although trained for classical music, Charlotte always wanted to become a singer-songwriter to be able to express her artistic vision through her own music. She interrupted her classical studies and focused on songwriting.
This breakthrough was the beginning of her collaboration with Sam Klempner, with whom she wrote her first singles – Ain’t The Man and Pray To You. With her songs Charlotte wants to bring back instrumental sound and soulful vocal lines to pop music.
From her upcoming debut album we can expect big dramatic vocals and lush orchestral sounds with a retro-tinged sound.
