Conal Kelly is a songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist, priding himself in his ability to produce and record entire songs independently from the comfort of a bedroom studio.
Having previously fronted Bristol (UK) indie-pop act Watercolours, Conal was able to develop his production and songwriting styles, while enjoying consistent support from BBC Introducing and numerous editorial playlist features on Spotify, including Finland's 'Hipsteribrunssi'.
The venture into the world of the 'solo artists' began this year through the release of ‘Tongue Tied’ with James Humphrys, which was shortly followed by the undertaking of the The 24hr Covers Project. During lockdown, each song was fully recorded, mixed and produced within 24hrs, receiving a full feature on BBC Radio Bristol as well as multiple radio plays across the network. All this was achieved whilst also recording a debut album with Prog outfit Marathon as bassist/guitarist/backing vocalist and co-songwriter.
In My Head is the first single released from Kelly, and is just a small taste of what is to come.
