Brad Varsity (Brad Perl) is an American artist and songwriter from Chicago, IL. Vars, as most call him, began his musical journey in high school where he started writing poems and lyrics in his notebook to help cope with being bullied.
These lyrics turned into songs as he started to record in his friend’s basement and release them under the alias B. Perl. 3 years later, he released multiple singles and went on to perform at his senior prom. Since then has developed an ever-growing fan base that craves his unique flows, conscious lyrics, and high-energy bars.
Brad, a triplet, grew up in a wild house-hold with his older brother and triplet siblings. His parents divorced early which caused Brad to turn to music where he would bump Linkin Park, Lil Wayne, and Eminem in his walkman everyday. These influences grew into Mac Miller, Kid Cudi, and G-Eazy, and developed his flow into one of the more unique ones you’ll hear today.

In 2019, Brad released his biggest record “Love is War” with up-and coming DJ group @Cafedisko which has since been streamed over a million times across platforms and was used by Chicago Cub Ian Happ as his walk-up song at home
games. Later that year, Brad released his EP “BALCONY” a self-recorded project written while Brad was on a reality tv show all mixed, engineered, and mastered by him in his bedroom. In 2020, Brad has many collabs and singles dropping and has fans everywhere chanting his catch phrase “VARSGOTBARS”.
