First heard with their debut single Hair in 2016 little is known about the ambiguous alt-pop quartet MCXX. (pronounced: em-si-ex) Their music delivers resemblances to heavy hitters like The 1975, The Maine, and M83.
Formed in July 2015 by reclusive frontman Adam McKinney-Drew, MCXX has garnered a cult-like following from all over the world. The band's biggest success to date has been their infectious single Egyptian Cotton, off their debut album Sourmouth released in April 2017. The group is comprised of multi-instrumentalist Vincent Charles, drummer Conner James, and producer/keyboardist LEVI. After their debut album's release the band went silent by taking down all their social media. In November 2018 they reappeared with photographs in the studio followed by cryptic narratives. So it seems MCXX is remitting a new issue of noise in 2019.
