Lisa Maps is an Australian singer-songwriter based in Brisbane. With a voice once described as ‘too big for the pub’ and a heart proudly worn on her sleeve, she is a storyteller who takes inspiration from all aspects of life, from romance and personal growth through to video games.
Lisa’s sound grew up among the great female songwriters of the 90s, with influences including Jewel, the Waifs and Alanis Morrissette. Her music blends vibrant folk-pop melodies with rich guitar tones to capture a broad spectrum of moods, from dramatic and melancholy to quirky and upbeat.
Lisa released her debut EP, Colours, in 2019, and continues to record and release new music from her home studio through the Covid-19 lockdown.
