On July 31, 2018, when Mars was closest to Earth, he released Disrupted, a lo-fi future bass album about Elon Musk. In 2019, he released Five Eyes - a deeply melodic chill trap album about surveillance. A month later, Provocalz released his hip-hop EP G.O.D with all tracks produced by Mat Ward, who described it as "my favourite thing I've done, music-wise". In January 2020, he released an acclaimed concept album about the media - Filter Bubble - which blends future bass and drum and bass to come up with a new genre. In April 2020, he released A Tiny Pale Blue Dot - the first single from his forthcoming album Interplanetary Species, out in January 2021.
