In early 2017 Lowland Hum released Thin, their third full-length studio album and took their new songs on the road for a nationwide headline album release tour; sharing the stage with Josh Ritter and Jesca Hoop along the way. In the fall of 2017, they released an EP of b-sides from the Thin sessions and, after supporting Penny & Sparrow on a national US tour, embarked on a six-week European tour. In November of 2017 they released Songs for Christmas Time, a collection of retooled Christmas classics, garnering high praise and top reviews from the Huffington Post, the LA Times, Paste Magazine and others. In the first months of 2018, the band toured the US as support for The Oh Hellos’ national album release tour and has since been writing and producing their next project. In the fall the band will join Horse Feathers for a string of dates after premiering a Velvet Underground cover with Paste. Their fourth full-length studio album Glyphonic is set to release in May 2019.
