Back in Virginia, Lowland Hum converted a barn on their modest farmhouse property into a recording studio. They released their first home studio-born batch of songs, an EP entitled "Singing Other People’s Love Songs" in the spring of 2020. The duo also launched a Patreon page in 2020, allowing subscribers a deeper look into the band's process and sharing access to loads of previously unreleased material.
In previous years, Lowland Hum has spent most of their time on the road, touring across the US & Europe, performing with Josh Ritter, Penny & Sparrow, Jesca Hoop and The Oh Hellos along the way. During the early quarantine days of 2020, the duo wrote and recorded their sixth full length album, set to release later in 2021.
