Russian starlet Shapov has been making ever-increasing strides within the electronic music industry since embarking on his solo project in 2015.
With each subsequent release he has taken things up a level and with each subsequent show, a bigger stage follows.
Signed to Axwell’s Axtone Records, Shapov has just finished his busiest summer run to date bringing his unbridled energetic DJ sets to his ever-expanding and devoted fan base. He performed at Tomorrowland twice, including his debut main stage performance, Medusa, Nameless, Delirium, Electrobeach, Los Alamos, Electric Love and Parookaville capped off with an Asia tour across Thailand, Myanmar, Taiwan and Malaysia.
Best known for his Axwell collaboration ‘Belong’ that’s now clocked up over 20M streams, Shapov released his ‘Four Corners’ EP earlier this year that showcased both his production prowess and musical dexterity. ‘Breathing Deeper’ alongside Meg & Nerak hit the No.1 spot on Spotify’s flagship playlist ElectroNow (now Mint) with ‘Some People’ the standout track in his sets and a firm fan favourite.
Currently working in his Smolensk studio, expect to hear fresh music from across the electronic spectrum including trance, drum & bass and techno with the genre-defying artist producing vocal tracks in equal measure.
