A talented vocalist, writer, and performer, Luke Easter has been active in a variety of projects over the past 25 years. Best known as the lead vocalist for influential Christian metal band Tourniquet, Luke joined the band in 1993, performing all over the United States, Canada, Europe, and South America, and establishing Tourniquet as a top tier live band.
In late-2015, Luke and the band parted ways, and he began working with producer and longtime friend Kris Kanoho on his solo debut. Released in June 2018, The Pop Disaster, marked a shift to a more commercial, power pop/hard rock sound. Featuring veteran rockers Timothy Gaines (bass, ex-Stryper), David Bach (bass, Guardian), Jesse Sprinkle (drums, Poor Old Lu, ex-Demon Hunter, Blank Books), Josiah Prince (lead guitar, Disciple), and producer Kris Kanoho on acoustic and rhythm guitars, these seven songs demonstrate a versatility, a melodic sensibility, and songwriting skills only hinted at in his past work.
