He burst onto the scene in 2011 and broke through with a blast of singles like “Lick the Rainbow” and “Milky Way”, plus slamming remixes for the likes of LMFAO, Morgan Page, and The Glitch Mob. These were a foundation to being a global attraction, known for a devastating, laptop-smashing DJ/live performance show from London’s Ministry of Sound to festival appearances at Coachella, Electric Zoo and Ultra Music Festival.
Early success laid the foundation for his artist album debut, “9999 in 1”, which was released in 2015. Since 2016 Mord has been releasing material via his own Dawn of Light imprint, including adventurous singles such as “Fabricated” and “Gaia”, as well as it being a home to various EPs and albums.
Mord’s second huge passion is video games, so it’s only natural that he’s brought his two passions—music & video games—together for iconic games such as Counter Strike: Global Offensive and Beat Saber.
Most recently he has worked on different sound design projects for companies like Arturia, and Ashun Sound Machines, further demonstrating there are still sides of his personality yet to be unveiled.
