    I'm Only Human
Music has always been my passion. Although I did not play any instruments when I was younger, I was always listening to a wide variety of musical genres; from hip hop, to funk, to electrohouse (and almost everything else).
I first became especially interested in electronic music when the music industry as a whole was going through immense change; technology was making music more accessible, and it was also opening many new opportunities for creativity. It was then, just as it still is today, a revolutionary and exciting time, and I knew it was something that I wanted to be a part of.
After a few years of Djing for small private parties, a core group of friends that I was lucky to be a part of decided to check out the Shambhala Music Festival outside of Nelson, BC. My experience with the atmosphere and music there (Dubstep was just hitting North America like tsunami) inspired me to start making my own music, my own sounds, and begin a journey through music that has been an incredible life experience. Shortly after that epiphany, I relocated to Nelson, met some more amazing friends, and continued developing my sound.
Art is an incredibly fulfilling pursuit if its done for the right reasons, but it can also be a venture that makes it hard to survive. For that reason, to pay the bills, I spent the last eight years fighting forest fires in the summer but always came back to music whenever I had the time.
