During 2018, the band played a lot of shows for the most part in Northern Italy, to support the EP’s release. The same year, the members of DAO got back to the studio to write and record new material. “The Sinking Ship” was the first single and video of the 2019 upcoming album.
The 2019 kicked off with the release of “Hourglass” which features Novelists FR's singer Matt Gelsomino. At the beginning of the summer, Deep as Ocean released a third single entitled “Oblivion”. This song gained over 20k streams in a couple of weeks, and it got direct support from the Spotify’s editorial team. “Oblivion” is included in Spotify's “New Blood” playlist.
On October 25, 2019, Deep as Ocean released the new single and video “Knives and Flames”. This song has been included in Spotify’s “New Core” and “New Blood” playlists. The band’s first album, “Crossing Parallels”, will be released on December 13, 2019.
