At Once, Grace.
Arc Arc Arc
For Melbourne-based composer and producer, Daniel Kleviansky, music is his lifeline. A child of both Africa and Australia, and intensely inspired by the massive sonics of Hans Zimmer, the soft grace of Ólafur Arnalds, and the audacity of genre-defying Linkin Park, Kleviansky finally decided it was time for his contributions to be made.
Creating a lush, orchestral soundscape that combined elements of electronica, ambient, and minimalistic styles, and with its sweeping strings and delicate piano sections, Here. Now. was the perfect introduction to the world of Daniel Kleviansky.
Wavering Confidence, his second release, featured a vastly different sound, but purposeful in its feelings of hope, and acts as an early exploration of melding African influences, with touches of previously released electronic neoclassical elements.
Exactly halfway through 2020, At Motion, his latest single was released. Cinematic in nature, and leaning into bolder yet familiar classical territory previously explored in his debut, At Motion explores a conversation between orchestras. Its creation takes particular inspiration from the observed ebb and flow of the tide in Australia's Byron Bay, and a particularly special relationship fostered there. At Once, Grace., Kleviansky's first LP, released November 6th. It aims to narrate a personal story of despair, acceptance, and triumph.
