Florida electronic dance producers BLVK JVCK made their debut in 2017, but they'd already been together for decades prior.
Also known as the Runners, the duo of Andrew "Dru Brett" Harr and Jermaine "Mayne Zayne" Jackson met in kindergarten and stayed friends into adulthood. In 2000, they formed the Runners, an Orlando-based hip-hop production team heading Trac-N-Field Entertainment. Over a decade, the Timbaland and Neptunes-influenced producers crafted hits for acts like DJ Khaled, Rihanna, Beyoncé, Justin Bieber, John Legend, Ludacris, Rick Ross, T.I., Lil Wayne, Usher, and many more. In 2017, they took a step away from R&B and rap and ventured into dance music. Following a remix of Bruno Mars' "That's What I Like," they issued their debut single, "Mind Games," with London-based vocalist Dyo of NEIKED. Their second single for Big Beat Records was "Mine Luv" with H.E.R. ~ Neil Z. Yeung
