tropical sun, Hervé devoured club culture day and night, definitively sidelining any plans for a
tan-line. At 17 years old, he stumbled across EDM and was instantly inspired to make his own
dancefloor pounding bangers. 2012 was the year the Herve Pagez rocket took off when Laidback Luke discovered him and, off the back of a few promising demos, signed him to his label Mixmash. Next in line
to fall under Herve’s explosive spell was no other than Diplo, who made a point of following
him online, playlisting Pagez in his own DJ sets until he eventually hit him up for an official
remix of Major Lazer’s ‘Lose Yourself’.
Herve took off from his island and local crew to settle in metropolitan France and begin engulfing European crowds with the flames of his métissé DJ sets. Working at UNIQLO to pay his
Parisian rent, Herve would often follow long days at work with moonless nights behind the
decks. He seduced the local club scene with his own variety of moombahton, trap, and afro influences, while maintaining his own balance of fun and pop, leading him to Tomorrowland in 2016.
Now conquering the universe with Spicy, his own, off-the-wall insane rendition of the Spice Girls’ hit
song Wannabe, and the single is set to propel the Antilles sound to the speed of light, while getting friendly with dolphins in space.
