Starting as the multi-tracking, multi-house recording project in Tallahassee, FL that created Best Supporting Actor, Jordan formed The Hundred Percent to bring these songs to a stage.
Once Emmit Dobbyn (Bass), Vincent Montemarano (drums), and Matt Raspo (keys) joined, the acoustic/emo/gospel takes from the record began to lean more 70s easy rock, exemplified with Fail to Learn. But ever hungry to never write the same song twice, the band is more deeply exploring the elements of what makes their sound by releasing various EPs, each focusing on a certain style. 2019’s “Normalcy” EP found down-tempo, synth-gluttony expressed via multi-instrument melodies that were clear and easy to follow. 2020 will be leaning back towards the electronic-soul of Rust and deep-dark Wurlitzer vibes from Bored Again (qwertyuiopasdfghjklzxcvbnm).
