Within the bands initial basement rehearsals, they merged their roots sound with modern day rock music. Sun House was born. Paying homage to their heroes, the band took inspiration for their name from the great, late, Son House.
Early underground rehearsals soon birthed Sun House’s debut EP, @Rosedale. Rosedale was later recorded at the prestigious Metropolis Studios, London in Studio A.
A recent line-up change saw the departure of original singer, Emilia Quinn. Three became two, leaving guitarist Jamie and drummer Cam to continue with the Sun House name. The tight duo headed straight to the studio to recorded their debut album, Ticket to Fly. The band joined forces with close friend Harun Kotch (guitarist for J Lee and The Hoodoo Skulls) to help produce the album in his home studio, Knuci Studios. Singer Tomas Baptista was invited to sing on the record. Sun House now look to continue their journey as a strong duo with guest vocalists. The band hope to tour the UK and the USA very soon.
