Emma Mould is a singer, songwriter, musician from Manchester UK. An eclectic artist she plays folk, folk rock, folk soul, prog rock, gospel, blues, in her latest music releases. Her debut album “Kites and Chasms” was released in September 2016, achieving local radio play and support by BBC introducing Manchester. She was soon commissioned to write a song as part of her social activism in raising awareness to end violence against women and girls. Emma wrote the song “Press Red”, the single was officially released on 25th November 2017 and reached number 112 the iTunes Alternative charts. In April 2018 Emma was the selected BBC introducing artist of the week on The Georgey Spanswick show "Georgey tonight" gaining her first national radio appearance. This was followed by her second single release “Bryan Glancy” and later in the year the 5 track EP “Press Red” on 29/9/18. She returned to the studio with producer ‘Dan Stirling” to record an 11 track album titled “Exquisite”. The first single off the album “Eve’s Song” was released on 24/4/20. Emma’s songwriting prowess really shines through as she tells a story of a loyal love that has seen difficult times but chooses to hold on regardless in a poetic yet powerful way. The new album is a compilation of songs written to challenge the listener’s ideas of love, be the forgotten voice of women, and share Emma’s story. Emma is currently releasing a series of singles off the new upcoming album, the latest is “Gift of a key”.
