Ingebjørg Bratland is a Norwegian artist commonly known for her voice, unique song technique and her ability to communicate.
At 27 years of age, the Vinje-native has already developed a track record that most people can envy. Before the release of her debut album, Ingebjørg was a well-known artist in the folk music genre. She was named Nordic Champion, has won the Norwegian championship in folk music, and has more victories in “Landskappleiken” as a traditional vocalist. She has also marked herself strongly with her contribution on H.R.H Crown Princess Mette-Marit’s compilation album “Sorgen og gleden” (The sorrow and the pleasure), in addition to sing on the title track of Jul i Svingen (A Norwegian series broadcasted on national television).
