Chart topping pianist/composer/arranger and Billboard/Emmy nominee Arthur Hanlon is the most recognizable name in Latin instrumental music today.
Born in Detroit to Irish-American parents, Hanlon found his calling in Latin music and has done what no other has in Latin instrumental music, becoming the only pianist to hit No. 1 on the Billboard Latin charts and the only pianist to hit Billboard’s Latin Airplay charts in decades. A virtuoso with a master’s degree in piano performance from Manhattan School of Music, Hanlon plays a distinctive blend of Detroit street, classical virtuosity and Latin beats and has recorded and performed with superstars like Luis Fonsi, Laura Pausini, Marc Anthony, Juanes, Natalie Cole, Prince Royce, Ozuna, Ricardo Montaner and countless others.
Included among his 8 studio albums are top selling "11 Números Uno", 2005’s hit “La Gorda Linda,” Ft. Tito Nieves, Ana Bárbara and Arturo Sandoval and 2009's “Piano Sin Fronteras”. In 2012 Hanlon released “Encanto Del Caribe” a PBS TV special filmed and recorded live in San Cristobal Castle in Puerto Rico and in 2015 Arthur’s Sony Music debut album release and TV special “Viajero”, in which he traveled to 8 different countries to film and record, received international acclaim.
The latest in Arthur's global musical journey is a track with Colombian trio Chocquibtown, “No Tuve La Culpa,” a seamless blend of Arthur’s piano virtuosity with CQT’s urban beats and folk accents from Colombia’s Pacific Coast.
