Having left school with not much more then a GCSE in Astronomy, Saskia carved her own path away from the majority by refusing academic studies, and instead, avidly taking trainings in healthcare, earning her the title of youngest Biodynamic Craniosacral practitioner in the UK (if not the world...hard to prove that...) and she opened up her busy practice on Harley Street London all the while taking non accredited courses in philosophy, theology and literature.
All this culminated in the inevitable conclusion that in order to live life to the full one has to pursue one's dreams, and Saskia discovered that her deepest, most powerful dream was to be a singer and to write music that will speak to people about themselves, their relationships, and their standing in the immensity of life.
A tall order? Well yes, but all that philosophy meant she wasn't about to back down, and she started her way literally from the ground up, by busking her way across England, crowdfunding, being awarded several Arts Council grants, and finally touring nationally and internationally and receiving regular BBC radio play.
She is now 25 and lives in London which fulfills her need for culture, but not nature, and she tours the folk and acoustic scene year round if for nothing else than to get out of the city.
