Cub Country

Cub Country existed from 1998 through 2016 as a collective of musicians recording songs that were written by singer/songwriter Jeremy Chatelain (sometime member of Jets To Brazil, Handsome, Helmet, and Insight). Started as a home-recording project and evolving into a touring band based in Brooklyn, Chapel Hill, Seattle, and finally Salt Lake City, the family tree that sprouted from the band encompassed groups from across the United States. Over the course of nearly 20 years Jeremy and over 40 musicians recorded 4 LPs, 1 EP, and 2 7” records. Now in the rear view mirror, Cub Country occasionally regroups to record and release new music, the latest being 2 songs finished in the Fall of 2020.
