A rapper, singer-songwriter, producer, designer, and performer, Latashá was born with a musical heart and an immense love for eclectic artists from Missy Elliot to Tyler The Creator. After an abrupt death of her first love, Latashá began to create and perform at Wesleyan University.
After graduation, she began to grow her lyrical tongue and energy packed performances. She has opened for various artists from Big Sean, Ghostface Killah, Princess Nokia, headlined and toured various festivals and events from Brooklyn Museum’s First Saturday’s, SXSW, Afro-Latino Fest, A3C, and more, without a major label.
After facing many life challenges, Latashá began to overflow with accomplishments. She became the first Hip-Hop artist in residence for National Sawdust and The Shed, was named Brooklyn Magazine’s “30 under 30”, starred in the Tic Tic x IHeartRadio Campaign and the list rolls on.
Latashá is currently working on her upcoming EP “Chrysalis” due for 2020 and growing her IGTV series “TRULYTE” to it’s own channel.
