Her energetic calls and performance-based presence have opened doors for her to perform at events like: SXSW, A3C, and NXNE as well as opening for Kanye West, Q-Tip, Big Sean and Ghostface Killah. In 2017, LATASHA became the first Hip Hop Artist in Residence at New York's unparalleled artist-led venue, National Sawdust. She has also been featured in NBC Left Field mini documentary, which focused on the transition from working in the financial industry to working as a full time independent creative. In 2018, she debuted her multimedia performance project, All A Dream: Intro to Latasha during Brooklyn Museum’s Target First Saturdays. Her performances tell her stories of navigating through blackness and magick in a shifting world. LATASHA was also recently named 2018’s Brooklyn Magazine 30 Under 30 and featured in media outlets like: XXL, Noisey, Okayplayer, Afropunk, Refinery29, The Fader and Remezcla.
