After settling in Canada to explore a new world beyond her home in Australia, Wolfe spent the past 5 years in the city of Montreal building the foundations of her sound and collecting inspiration from the sometimes wild, icy and eclectic settings of Quebec.
Being cooped up inside for the long winters gave Wolfe the time to experiment mixing genres such as folk/pop/electronic/world music and cinematic soundtracks to create a sound that pushed her musical attributes into new territory while still retaining her core, powerful sound.
Originally a classically trained violinist and Jazz/soul vocalist, mixing genres was inevitable when it came to creating her own music.
With an alluring mix of Venezuelan, Syrian and Australian roots, an empathetic soul and a love of nature, Wolfe’s deep, inner discontent was the catalyst for her desire to initially leave Australia in 2014 in search of that elusive ‘something else’. Wolfe found an avenue to voice her thoughts through her music.
