In 2014, "Chill Bill," began to gain traction leading up to its formal release on his debut mixtape, Straight Bummin' in 2015. In 2016, "Chill Bill," was re-released and climbed its way up the Billboard Hot 100, going on to peak at No. 29 and lead him toward inking his first major label deal with RCA. The Kill Bill-inspired single, which has since been certified 2x Platinum by the RIAA.
Rob $tone released his 2016 sophomore mixtape, I'm Almost Ready. Amid the chaos that comes with being an emerging talent, $tone became celebrated for his emotive & lively performances. $tone first hit the road as a supporting act alongside Playboi Carti & A$AP Ferg in 2016 and Desiigner in 2017.
Prior to closing out 2017, the 22-year-old also celebrated the release of his long-awaited debut studio album, Don’t Wait For It. In addition to creating a visual component to accompany nearly every track, the project also featured Gucci Mane, Meechy Darko (of the Flatbush Zombies), 1207 and Cash Passion, with production by Zaytoven, ID Labs, Ricci Riera and more.
In 2018, Rob is preparing his next album, $tone Cold, as well as his first headlining tour, the $tone Cold Tour.
