Perhaps best described by The Guardian as “Prince on a trampoline”, in two short years Glasgow-based duo Bossy Love have built an army of fans utterly captivated by their savvy, RnB-inflected pop.

Comprising Scottish producer & drummer John Baillie Jr, and Australian vocalist & songwriter Amandah Wilkinson, she explains, “We clicked straight away in the studio. Without having to say a word, it was everything I'd ever wanted in a song.”
With just a handful of single releases, they’ve already been compared to Prince, Quincy Jones and Michael Jackson. As The Fader said; "You wish you were best friends with Bossy Love. They make the kind of R&B that their name promises; sweet but direct, sexy but firmly in charge.”
As a 3-piece live show, with the addition of Ollie Cox on keys & talkbox, Baillie Jr interjects his drumming for 3-part harmonies, and whether singing or rapping, Wilkinson is spellbinding; merging confessional lyrics with a playful, IDGAF attitude - as the relatable, yet audacious heroine we all want and need. Commanding absolute stage presence with confidence and effortless charm; as Dummy explains “they’re even more stunning live”, while The Skinny noted “it’s a brave band who let Bossy Love open for them.”
Bossy Love have supported Kelis, Tank & The Bangas, Metronomy and Alma, and played Glastonbury, where their set was televised by the BBC, who invited Bossy Love back for a live broadcast session this summer.
