Silver is the first part of an instrumental post-rock/metal trilogy by KARM, which is a solo project of the Helsinki based musician Atte Karm, also known from bands like Liha and Neurosurgery.
The EP contains 5 tracks that begin the saga. You can hear influences from progressive bands like Gojira, Toska and God is an Astronaut in the music, while KARM is taking a more straight-forward attitude and some slight influences from genres like black metal and doom metal.
Silver is a story of hope, transcendence and despair.
Drought is a lone single between the EPs. It's the only track with vocals, and so doesn't really fit that well on any of the EPs.
