Daniel is also a real farmer.
Famed from his early time in the 1970s playing with Townes Van Zandt, Daniel took a path away from the music scene but not music. He traveled the world in the 1970s, writing songs throughout.
Daniel was born and raised in Augusta, Georgia and went to the University of Georgia in Athens. He returned to Georgia after his days on the road and spent the next decade farming, playing and working in his family’s hardware store. This changed when he followed a French medical student back to France where he raised pet chickens, pet cats, and twin daughters while continuing to write songs on his farm every evening…
In 2012, Daniel was “discovered” and in 2015 he released his first album, “Sweet Lovin’ Music” which was produced in Nashville by Grammy nominees Gary Gold & John Capek. In 2016, Daniel recorded his double album “Acoustic Outlaw Vol. 1 & 2” on his farm. In 2017, he recorded “Old-Timey, Soulful, Hippy-Dippy, Flower-Child Songs from the Cosmos… Wow! (Unheard Songs of the Early 1970s: Part One)”.
2019 will see the release of multiple albums as Daniel has over 500 songs he wishes to share.
