You won't find Honey County on any map. Instead, the group takes its name from a fictional place, a move that allows the bandmates to create their own landscape of story-driven country, melodic pop, and punchy, guitar-fueled rock. It's a sound that leans heavily on the powerful blend of three voices, punctuated by songwriting chops that evoke both the sunny beauty of the band's California headquarters as well as the Bible Belt bounce of Nashville. Not to be overlooked are Devon Jane's guitar chops, which have also earned the musician a coveted gig as lead guitarist on Katy Perry's Witness Tour. With all three members trading vocal duties and sharing songwriting credits, Honey County sounds as sweet at its name.
