Her latest, self-produced album Down Below, the Status Quo was nominated for a total of twelve awards in her home of Eastern Canada and won the 2016 East Coast Music Award for R&B / Soul Album of the Year. It is a magical, moonlight-soaked reverie, filled with drama and intensity; in one moment a defiant cry and in the next a desperate whisper. It has been described as "embodying the spirit of Nina Simone" and "conjuring the ghost of Donny Hathaway".
In addition to being a prolific artist with four albums to her credit and multiple award nominations, Erin is keenly sought after as an arranger and producer. Her talent as a producer was recognized this year with a Music Nova Scotia Award for Producer of the Year 2017, the first woman to win the award and one of the few women in Canada to take a major award for music production in the past several decades.
