Dear Youth is a Canadian pop punk/emo band from Montreal, QC who formed in December 2015 by Jared Zuckerman (vocals), Brendan Pilon (guitar), Jacob Saray (guitar), Eduardo Fonseca Arraes (bass) and Devon Cleary (drums), all with the similar interest of writing songs that just felt good.
The band’s sound possesses clear ties to the staple bands of the late 90's and early 00's as listeners can draw influences from Blink-182 to Taking Back Sunday. With a range of sad lyrical content blended with punchy riffs and melodic-radio undertones, the band has been able to bring this iconic sound to the modern age, packing its own punch and feel.
In early 2018, Dear Youth announced they have signed with Anchor Eighty Four Records and released a new single titled “Fair Warning”. On June 29th the band released their new EP titled "You Could Wish Me The Best".
The future is bright for Dear Youth with no signs of slowing down. The band has a myopic focus of playing as many shows as possible and sharing the music they love with anyone who cares to listen.
