Born Dario Dicochea in Tucson, Arizona, he grew up in a large family and became interested in music at a young age. By his teens, Dario was already performing locally, and in 2006 he relocated to Los Angeles to pursue a music career. He released his debut album, Dedicated, in 2007. Dario toured extensively across the United States over the next several years. He built a loyal following during this time, especially in the LGBT community with his regular appearances at Pride events. He also released several EPs, including 2011's The Up Side of Down and 2014's Evolution. In 2015 he delivered his sophomore album, Revolution, which achieved a number one digital chart position. The album also spawned several singles, including "Save You," which landed on Billboard's Top 40 dance chart. He also headlined his first-ever world tour that year. The EP Alpha, featuring the single "Try It," appeared in 2016. In 2017 Dario returned with the full-length album Point of No Return, featuring the single "Good Morning World." ~ Matt Collar
