Born in Stockholm in 2001, Valle Hedlund adopted a passion for music at a young age. He took his talent for guitar into a number of early bands to develop his vocal and writing abilities, however these groups evaporated.
His journey as a solo singer-songwriter thus began in 2013. The following years saw local press coverage and culminated in an appearance at the prestigious WeAreSthlm Festival at the bequest of festival curator Jacob Hallerström (Jacob Hallerstrӧm, Mama Sonic).
Wishing to branch out and expand his reach, he involved himself in a series of collaborative releases with fellow Swedish singer Julia Lovhölm, including Now and Mom. It was these works that attracted the attentions of London record label ADSRecords who signed Valle in 2018 under the name Valle Hope.
After a brief but tumultuous period of difficult personal circumstances, Valle emerged with a coalesced creative identity that prompted the writing of his debut EP. A five track collection, Your Missed Calls was recorded and produced in London by Alex Dale-Staples released in August 2018 to an overwhelmingly positive response. The lead single England was included on Hype Machine and the EP was awarded a 4/5 from CelebMix. His live show solicited similarly positive reactions as he took his sound on the road in the UK and Sweden.
