O Terno is a rock'n'roll-pop-experimental power trio from São Paulo, Brazil. With Tim Bernardes (guitar and vocals), Guilherme d’Almeida (bass) and Biel Basile (drums), the band draws attentions for their originality, by managing to mix contemporary and sixties tones under a unique authorial style.
The band have released their third original work, the album Melhor Do Que Parece (Risco), in August 2016. It was considered "Best Album 2016" by one of most important Brazilian newspaper, O Estado de São Paulo, among many other lists. Its solar and vibrant sounds proves the spontaneity and intimacy of the trio after a long and intense period on the road. In the same year, the group played at the Primavera Sound 2016 Festival, in Barcelona, Spain, and in Portugal. They also won the "Music Video Of The Year" award at Prêmio Multishow, with the song Ai, Ai, Como Eu Me Iludo. The same video won the Gran Pix Award of Ciclope Latino.
Their debut album 66 (2012) was a success among critics and audience. The main single became very popular on the internet. It won the "Best Music Video" award at Prêmio Multishow and was considered "Best New Artist MTV" at the MTV Video Music Brasil (VMB). This album was also among the 25 best titles of the year, according to the Rolling Stone Brasil magazine; and was considered, by the Brazilian newspaper O Globo, "the most impressive debut album by a Brazilian band in recent years".
