The Phantoms are Georgetown University's oldest co-ed a cappella group, founded in 1988. Originally a holiday group called “the phantom singers” for our elusive presence on campus, we now sing pop, rock, and R&B from a variety of artists.
However, we continue to perform our 1989 arrangement of “Africa” by Toto at the DC A Cappella Festival, and we even sang it in the White House when we coincidentally ran into one of our members from over a decade ago. This fall, we hosted the 28th annual DC A Cappella Festival, which brought together groups from Georgetown and up and down the east coast. We love to sing at weddings, parties, community events, and local competitions on and off campus.
